What a fantastic response we have had to the calendar in this, our first year. We have had heaps of brilliant feedback on the quality and layout of the Splitty Calendar™ and everyone really loves hearing a little bit about the buses.
We are eagerly working on the 2009 issue and as soon as we have progressed that to print we will be releasing photographic poster prints of the 2008 shoots for online purchase.
We are also talking with distributors now for the 2009 issue in an effort to get the calendar out to even more people.
Other bus calendars boast of having 15 or 18 shots in them. Splitty Calendar™ 2008 has 93 unique full colour images. Each feature also includes a synopsis on the bus and its history. We really wanted the audience to get closer to the buses and see things normally reserved for the owner.
Having commissioned the services of renowned car photographer Justin Cooper we found a perfect fit of talent, enthusiasm and dedication.
The work didn't stop at the photography either. Our printers, whom I have had 15 years experience working with, are the best money can buy. We work very closely with them getting every aspect of colour, texture and finish just right.
